OUR LAKES
These are the DFW area lakes at which we offer guided fishing trips. All of these sizable lakes have abundant populations of Crappie.
LAKE LEWISVILLE
Lake Lewisville is located about 40 miles NW of downtown Dallas. The lake has a surface area of 29,600 acres and a maximum depth of 67 feet. The Texas Parks & Wildlife Dept reports that Lake Lewisville holds excellent populations of Crappie, white bass and catfish, and also good populations of largemouth bass, spotted bass and hybrid striped bass. The lake record white Crappie weighed 3.50 lbs and black Crappie 3.13 lbs.
LAKE LAVON
Lake Lavon is located about 34 miles NE of downtown Dallas. The lake has a surface area of 21,400 acres and a maximum depth of 59 feet. The Texas Parks & Wildlife Dept reports that Lake Lavon holds excellent populations of Crappie, sunfish and catfish, and also good populations of largemouth bass and white bass. The lake record white Crappie weighed 2.91 lbs and black Crappie 1.94 lbs.
LAKE RAY HUBBARD
Lake Ray Hubbard is located about 17 miles ENE of downtown Dallas. The lake has a surface area of 21,700 acres and a maximum depth of 40 feet. The Texas Parks & Wildlife Dept reports that Lake Ray Hubbard holds excellent populations of hybrid striped bass and catfish, and also good populations of Crappie, largemouth bass and white bass. The lake record white Crappie weighed 2.98 lbs and black Crappie 2.09 lbs.
JOE POOL LAKE
Joe Pool Lake is located about 17 miles SW of downtown Dallas. The lake has a surface area of 6,500 acres and a maximum depth of 75 feet. The Texas Parks & Wildlife Dept reports that Joe Pool Lake holds good populations of Crappie, largemouth bass, white bass and catfish. The lake record white Crappie weighed 2.59 lbs and black Crappie 2.03 lbs.
LAKE RAY ROBERTS
Lake Ray Roberts is located about 60 miles NW of downtown Dallas. The lake has a surface area of 25,600 acres and a maximum depth of 106 feet. The Texas Parks & Wildlife Dept reports that Lake Ray Hubbard holds excellent populations of Crappie, largemouth bass and white bass and catfish, and also good populations of sunfish and catfish. The lake record white Crappie weighed 3.09 lbs and black Crappie 2.46 lbs.
